Archeologists, geneticists, historians and other researchers from all corners of UK academia have come together to work a groundbreaking and uniquely cross-discipline study about… chickens. This AHRC funded research will be looking at where the chicken originated, their domestication and subsequent consumption and, going forward, how current agricultural practises may impact the chickens future on our supermarket shelves.
From this are numerous short promotional films about the outreach work the project is involved in, and a 30 minute documentary about the research and findings.
