I spent some time at Northborne Care Home to illuminate the love and labour that takes place within its walls. The day to day running of a care home is no small feat – it is undervalued and under-resourced – but care assistants, domestic staff, laundry assistants, chefs and managers are relentless in their devotion, compassion and care to the local people who call Northborne home.
